Intention: I live in an apartment about 12 blocks from campus. The little I know about growing life is from a couple plants that I take care of on my window sill. The little exposure I have to these plants has furthered my understanding of what plants need to survive. There is a part in the book that talks about how good "worm tea" is for plants and I would like to make a piece that is outside of apartments that allows people to have access to worm tea so they could supply the plants in their apartments with yummy food.

Context: I see this piece as part of a wall outside of an apartment. The wall would be holding back elevated land and I the caretakers would have access to a composting site built into the wall. People could use the piece to drain water they have brought, or use the water already there from rain fall.

Audience: Apartment people mainly. Others that are passing would most likely not know about the full intention of the piece, but would see the wall as a visually appealing sculpture.

Medium: Earth and concrete to make the sculpture.

Scale: Either one large kettle shaped sculpture or many small ones that have worm tea available that people could pour into their containers to feed the plants inside their apartments with.
